Klingon Vor’cha Class Cruiser
This is one of the oldest kits I have made from way back in 2009, and will defiantly have to do another now I know the pitfalls. There was a lot of work needed on the front section of the cruiser as there was on mine a slight twist in the small side pieces, so had a lot of filler and sanding to do.
If memory serves me right getting the right shade of green took a lot of finding as they are meant to be a 1 to 1 mix of federal colours FS-34227 & FS-35622, which were difficult to source back in 2009 in the UK, so found Humbrol enamel matt light green (120) & matt pale blue (122) did the trick.
Now time for Star Trek fans to scream as AMT/ERTL got the ship name totally wrong. On the box and instructions they have it classed as a K’Vort Cruiser….WRONG! It actually is a Vor’cha class attack cruiser, as the K’vort was a Bird of prey class.
